Analytics

Views, completion, drop-off, and CTA clicks for every published demo, measured without tracking anyone.

Publishing a demo is a hypothesis; analytics is the result. Escourtly measures how every published demo performs, per demo and across your account.

What's measured

MetricMeaning
ViewsViewing sessions on your share page and embeds. Repeat visits by the same viewer on the same day count once.
Completion rateThe share of viewers who reached the final step. The single best signal of demo quality.
Step drop-offHow many viewers reached each step, as a funnel. Shows exactly where attention dies.
CTA clicksHow many viewers clicked your call to action. The conversion number.
Traffic sourcesWhere viewers came from, based on the referring site.

The dashboard shows account-wide numbers and a live activity feed; each demo's analytics page has the full funnel.

Reading the funnel

The drop-off funnel is where the actionable insight lives:

  • A cliff at one step usually means the step is confusing, slow to read, or looks like an ending. Tighten its annotation, or check whether the previous step accidentally reads as "done".
  • Steady decay across many steps means the demo is too long. Fifteen strong steps beat thirty complete ones; delete freely, it's reversible.
  • High completion, low CTA clicks points at the closing screen. Make the CTA specific and singular.

Privacy, by design

Escourtly's analytics are anonymous and cookie-free:

  • No cookies, no fingerprinting. Viewers get a random token that lives only in their browser tab.
  • Daily reset. Even that token is unlinkable across days; a viewer today and the same viewer tomorrow are two anonymous viewers.
  • No personal data. No IPs stored, no names, no emails. We can tell you how many people watched, never who.

This keeps your embeds clean too: an Escourtly iframe doesn't add tracking cookies to your site.

Analytics start at publish

Draft demos collect nothing. Numbers begin the moment a demo is published and someone opens the link.
