Branding and demo settings

Brand color and font, the cover screen, and the call to action at the end of every demo.

Demos should look like they came from your product, not from a demo tool. Two layers control that: account-level brand defaults, and per-demo settings.

Account brand defaults

In Settings → Brand on your dashboard, set your brand color and font. Every demo you create starts with these, so you configure them once. The brand color drives hotspots, buttons, and accents; the font styles annotations and overlays.

Changing account defaults affects new demos. Existing demos keep their own settings, which you can adjust per demo.

Per-demo settings

Demo settings in the editor toolbar opens the demo's own configuration:

Title and details

The demo's name, shown in your dashboard and in the browser tab on the share page.

Branding

This demo's color and font, pre-filled from your account defaults.

Cover screen

What viewers see before they start clicking.

Call to action

Where you send viewers when they finish.

The cover screen

The cover is your demo's front door: a title, a subtitle, and a start button over the first step's screenshot. You control the text, the overlay color and opacity, and the text color.

Make the title say what the viewer will get, not what the demo is. "See how invoices reconcile themselves" beats "Product demo".

The call to action

When a viewer reaches the end, Escourtly shows a closing overlay with a heading, subtitle, and your CTA button: a label and a URL, usually your signup page or a booking link. There's also an optional restart button for viewers who want another pass.

The CTA is the point

Someone who clicked through your entire demo is the warmest visitor you have. Send them somewhere specific: start a trial, book a call, install the extension. CTA clicks are tracked in your analytics, so you'll know exactly how many viewers converted.

Style controls

Annotation and hotspot style

Demo-wide style controls for the annotation bubble (shape, size, arrow, step counter) live in the Annotation panel, and the hotspot's variant, size, and speed in the Hotspot panel. Together with color and font, they keep every step visually consistent.
