Magnify a step around a focus point so viewers see the action, not the whole screen. Fully reversible.

Some steps happen in a small corner of a big screen: a toggle in settings, one field in a long form. Zoom reframes the step around the action so viewers can't miss it, without touching the capture itself.

Zooming a step

Select the step and open Zoom

Pick the step, then click Zoom in the toolbar.

Set the level

Drag the Level slider. 100% is the original frame; up to 250% is available. The canvas updates live.

Place the focus point

The zoom centers on your step's click point by default, which is almost always what you want: it magnifies exactly where the action is. The Horizontal and Vertical sliders move the focus anywhere else on the frame.

Everything stays glued

Zoom is smart about the rest of the step: the hotspot, the highlight outline, the annotation bubble, and any blur regions are all repositioned with the zoomed frame, so they keep pointing at exactly the same content.

Zoom never touches the capture

Zoom is a display setting, not an edit. The full-resolution snapshot underneath is untouched, and because it's a real HTML snapshot rather than a picture, zoomed steps stay perfectly sharp. Press Reset zoom any time to get the original frame back.

When to zoom

Dense screens: dashboards and tables where the click target is one cell.
Small controls: toggles, checkboxes, icon buttons.
Storytelling rhythm: alternating wide and zoomed steps keeps a long demo alive.

And when not to: if every step is zoomed, nothing stands out. Use it where attention needs help.
