Blur sensitive content
Draw blur boxes over emails, names, and numbers. Applied everywhere the step is shown, including the live demo.
Real demos are recorded on real screens, and real screens have things on them you'd rather the internet didn't see: customer emails, revenue numbers, API keys, your own name in the corner. Blur hides them in seconds, with no re-recording.
Blurring a region
Select the step and open Blur
Pick the step in the left list, then click Blur in the toolbar.
Drag a box over the content
With the Blur tool open, the canvas becomes a drawing surface. Click and drag to draw a rectangle over anything sensitive. Release, and the blur is applied and saved.
Repeat, adjust, or remove
Draw as many regions as a step needs. Each region shows a ✕ button while the tool is open; click it to remove that region. The panel lists every region on the step, with a remove-all button.
Strength
The Blur amount slider in the panel controls how strong the effect is for the step. Default is a solid, unreadable blur; push it higher for large text, or lower for a subtle frosting.
Where blur applies
Everywhere. A blurred region is hidden in the editor canvas, in preview, on the public share page, and inside embeds. Viewers cannot toggle it off, and the blur ships with the demo when you publish.
Publish again after blurring
If the demo was already published, remember that the live version is a frozen copy. Add your blurs, then press Publish again so they reach the share link. Details in Publish and share.
