Interactive product demo software turns a click-through of your product into a demo that prospects click through themselves, from a link or an embed on your site, without a sales call or a signup.
Most lists of the best tools are written for companies with a sales team, and the paid plans they feature start around $500 a month billed annually. If you are a solo founder trying to get your first fifty customers to understand what you built, you need a different list. Escourtly, the tool I build, is on it. I'll tell you where each competitor is the better choice, using the prices on each vendor's pricing page as of 24 October 2026.
Interactive product demo software, in one minute
Tools split into two kinds:
- Screenshot demos stitch captured images into clickable steps. They are quick to make and fine for a simple flow.
- HTML demos capture the real code of each screen, so text, hover states and layout look like the product. Prospects are clicking something that behaves like your app, not a photo of it.
The price gap between the two is large, as the table below shows.
Escourtly is interactive product demo software for solo founders: a Chrome extension captures the real HTML of each screen as you click through your product, and you share one link that prospects click through without signing up. A free account can publish one demo at a time; the Founder Plan at $49 a month removes that limit.

What a year of your demo tool costs
The headline monthly price hides the real number, so multiply it out:
- Escourtly Founder Plan: $49 × 12 = $588 a year for unlimited published demos. The free account already publishes one.
- Supademo Business with one extra creator: ($199 + $50) × 12 = $2,988 a year billed yearly, for HTML demos.
- Storylane Growth or Navattic Base: $6,000 a year for five seats, billed annually.
If you don't need HTML capture, Guideflow Solo ($420 a year) and Supademo Scale ($456 a year) are the cheapest ways to publish something real.
Which one should a founder pick?
- You have never built an interactive demo and want to try the category for free. Start with Supademo's free plan: five guided demos, shareable immediately.
- Your interface has any visual complexity and you are doing cold outreach or social sharing yourself. Escourtly is built for exactly that, at a price a solo founder can carry.
- Visual polish matters most. Arcade produces the sharpest-looking demos with the least editing.
- Budget is the binding constraint and a simple walkthrough is enough. Guideflow Solo.
- You have a sales team, a budget and need deep CRM integration. Storylane or Navattic.
I wrote a longer, tool-by-tool review with the honest limitation of each in the best interactive demo tools for solo founders.
Best for indie hackers: start free, then pay for the one thing you need
If you are building on the side, the problem is usually the monthly bill, not the features. Start with the free plans: Supademo gives you 1 creator and 5 guided demos; Guideflow gives you 5 guideflows with a watermark; Arcade gives you 1 published demo and 1 published video; Storylane and Navattic each give you 1 published demo. These limits are tight, so treat them as a way to test, not a home.
When you outgrow free, decide what you must have. If you need live HTML capture, the entry points are Supademo Business at $199 a month billed annually, Storylane Growth at $500, Navattic Base at $500 and Guideflow's $499 plan billed yearly. Escourtly's free account records the same way and keeps one demo published, with its share link, embed and analytics. The Founder Plan is $49 a month, billed monthly, and removes the limit on published demos and adds custom domains and lead capture. That is an early price and it will change later; I'll update this post when it does.
If you don't need HTML capture, Guideflow Solo or Supademo Scale is cheaper than Escourtly. Escourtly's free account publishes one demo at a time, which is fewer than Supademo's five or Guideflow's five, and Escourtly is newer than every other tool here, so if the number of free demos matters most, pick one of the others.
Try it on your own product
Install the Chrome extension, click through one flow and see your demo. You can sign up free, record as many drafts as you like and publish one of them; the Founder Plan at $49 a month removes the limit. Record your first demo or see pricing.
